The Raccoons Are Gone: What Next?

So the female and baby raccoons that decided to make a home in your attic recently have all been rounded up…is the problem solved?  Not really.

Most raccoons enter homes because they find a weak point in the structure and exploit it.  In doing so, they often make the weak point even worse.

If this weak point is not shored up in some way, the problem is likely to recur.

After raccoon removal, the next step to ensure the problem does not happen again is a quality repair.  On our website and in the nuisance animal control industry, we use the term animal damage repair for this step of the process.

We strongly encourage you to plan your repair at the same time you plan your animal removal.  Though they are two distinct steps, one without the other is often pointless.

Removal. Exclusion. Solution.

We strongly believe that repairs are often as important as the animal removal itself.
