Bats Flying Around Attic

Often, inspecting for bats is about looking for signs of bats.  But sometimes, when they are roosted in an accessible attic, bats themselves are visible.

Ryan recently captured video of bats that were not happy he had intruded on their space.  They took flight in the attic and zipped back and forth.

Take Back Your Attic

Bat GuanoBat guano can really pile up in a space bats inhabit.

And even though many attics are not used as living space, having bats and their guano and urine is not desirable.

If you are inspecting for bats yourself and find piles of guano in your attic space, consider wearing respiratory and eye protection.

Once evidence of roosting bats is found, the next step is to determine any possible points of entry and make a plan to seal up all these entrances.
