How to Get Rid of Skunk Smell

A blog piece we’ve been meaning to post for a while…
There are many reported methods for dealing with skunk spray.  The mixture below is what we use.  It is recommended far and wide in the animal control industry.

If your pet or you have been sprayed by a skunk, we recommend a good washing with the following solution:

1 Quart (32 oz.) 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
1/4 Cup Baking Soda
2 Teaspoons of Dawn dish soap

As long as the proportions are the same, you can mix as much or as little as you’d like.
