Raccoons Removed From Chimney

We were recently called by homeowners with a raccoon problem in the City of Green, Ohio.  They had heard strange noises in the chimney and suspected a nuisance wild animal had moved in.  Racoon problems are common in Ohio and we went to investigate.

We found many signs of raccoons including this pile of raccoon scat on the roof right next to the chimney the raccoons were using as a den.

This pile of pooh is at the base of the chimney where the raccoons were residing.

We trapped the mother, took out the babies, and capped the chimney so this wouldn’t happen again.  Removal. Exclusion. Solution.

This was the female raccoon raising a litter in the chimney.
