The ODNR Division of Wildlife reports to us that the Southern Flying Squirrel is the most common squirrel in Ohio.
When we mention this to people we often get skeptical looks.
Seeing is believing, right? And since most Ohioans have never seen a flying squirrel but have seen tons of grey squirrels, it is easy to understand the doubt.
